About

2-Wheeled Life

Forty years ago, I started riding a bike, and it has become an obsession ever since. If I wasn't in school, at work, or fulfilling family obligations, I would be riding my BMX bike in circles in the yard, building jumps, and venturing off to find the next ledge to grind. Riding was my escape and biggest passion.

As I got older, I transitioned to mountain biking. The thrill of fast downhills and further exploration truly excited me. High-speed carving through the woods, combined with a few jumps along the way, reignited the passion I had as a kid.

I soon discovered that the challenge of mastering technical riding skills was even more enticing than the high-speed "grab and go" fun. Conquering a rocky climb, navigating a steep rock roll, or balancing on a technical line brought me back to my street BMX days, where I loved to session and play. This journey introduced me to the world of slow-speed technical riding.

To better grasp the fundamentals of this style, I sought out the best in the business: Jeff Lenosky and his Trail Boss Academy. Through bike coaching lessons, I not only developed my technical riding skills but also gained overall comfort in any situation. The essential mountain biking techniques of body position, balance, and proper bike-body separation form the foundation of all riding styles.

Through clinics and private lessons, I progressed in understanding and confidence, which ultimately led me to join as a coach in the academy. Now, I offer the same valuable lessons to others who find themselves in the same position I was in a few years back.

So, if you're looking to build your confidence on a bike, feel free to reach out to me directly or through the Trail Boss Academy. We would love to help you!
